Opening days

Fall fish migration

Fog-free scope lenses

The defrost/foot heat option in my truck

Insulated bib overalls

Vertical jigging -the easiest fishing with gloves

Briar-proof pants

Board shorts – for when fishing turns into swimming

A sharp knife

Baitfish dip nets

Wood-burning furnaces

Sausage gravy – for after a cold day

Potato soup – same as above

Pretuned crankbaits

Coffee and doughnuts – for before a cold day
