Professional angler Randall Tharp has been the face of Ark Fishing International from the company’s inception in 2017.

Louie Zhang, Ark’s owner, says ”I have worked closely with Randall from the beginning. He has been a vital part of this company’s sucess and I’m excited to have him working with me on our growing product line. Randall will adding our hard baits to his arsenal and his new boat wrap features our Z-63 (lipless bait) on one side and the Z-Swimmer (swim jig) on the other.”

Tharp will be fishing two tours in 2022, the MLF Bass Pro Tour and the Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit which kicks off Jan. 27 at Sam Rayburn where Ark will be the presenting sponsor.

“I have learned that Louie’s aspirations for this company are much bigger than us just building the best rods,” Tharp said. “He is obsessed with building anything that can be used to catch a fish. He doesn’t want to build a bait just to do it. He wants to build the best. He wants his baits to be used to win tournaments. That’s exciting and something I’m really looking forward to being a part of in the years to come.

“There are no limits for us and where this company can go. From Day 1, we have worked well together and the timing was right for both myself and Ark. We have been busy this off season shooting a commercial and working on new products. The Z Series lipless has two new sizes and all of our topwaters are legit. The Z Swimmer is our new swim jig and we also have a new crank bait called the Z Flat that Wes Logan and I wrecked them on the first time we got our hands on one.

I will be casting all of these on Team Ark prototype reels that we have been perfecting over the last two years.”
