The new tagline provides FLW with broader reach. It is a reflection of FLW’s international television audience, Fantasy Fishing, recent expansion into China and additional expansion to come.

Last week FLW launched a redesigned FLWOutdoors.com homepage featuring improved navigation and a new tagline – Fishing League Worldwide. This is not a name change. FLW still stands for the organization’s namesake, Forrest L. Wood, and the FLW championship is still the Forrest Wood Cup.

The new tagline provides FLW with broader reach. It is a reflection of FLW’s international television audience, Fantasy Fishing, recent expansion into China (check out FLWChina.cn) and additional expansion to come. Three Chinese anglers who competed in tournaments sanctioned by FLW and run in China will even compete as co-anglers at the FLW Tour Razorback Rumble on Beaver Lake April 10-13.

The site update is the first step in a complete redesign scheduled to roll out in early 2015. The new site will provide fans with the most compelling and timely industry news and tournament coverage available while also providing an extensive library of fishing tips to make their time on the water more productive, all in an intuitive and easy-to-navigate package.

Take the FLW tagline challenge at Facebook.com/FLWFishing and name FLW’s last three taglines before Fishing League Worldwide. Everyone who gets all three correct will be entered into a drawing to win a trip to the Forrest Wood Cup to meet Forrest L. Wood – FLW’s namesake.
