Brent Ehrler Recaps his $25,000 Heavy Hitters Catch

April 12, 2022 • Bass Pro Tour

TYLER, Texas – Brent Ehrler landed an 8-pound, 5-ounce bass during his first qualifying day at General Tire Heavy Hitters Presented by Bass Pro Shops. That catch earned him the $25,000 big bass bonus for Group B in the Qualifying Round. Ehrler came close to falling below the cut line during Tuesday’s Qualifying Day 2. Luckily, some key fish late in the day helped him secure a spot in Wednesday’s Knockout Round, where he’ll have a shot at winning a $50,000 big bass bonus.
