CONROE, Texas – B&W Trailer Hitches Stage 1 Presented by Power-Pole on Lake Conroe marked the Bass Pro Tour debut for rookies Jake Lawrence and Colby Miller. The two newcomers wasted little time showing they can hang with the best in the world.

After qualifying for the Knockout Round, both Lawrence and Miller got off to blazing starts Saturday. The two rising stars took full advantage of their forward-facing sonar in Period 1, stacking more than 55 pounds apiece onto SCORETRACKER® and both holding the lead at one point. Even after they had to turn off their transducers, they’ve continued to catch fish, positioning themselves to qualify for Sunday’s Championship Round and compete for the $150,000 top prize in their first BPT event.

Check out some snapshots from the two rookies’ morning action and follow the official live scoring on SCORETRACKER®. Be sure to tune in today and tomorrow for the MLFNOW! livestream at MajorLeagueFishing.com and the MyOutdoorTV (MOTV) app. The livestream begins at 7:30 a.m. CT and continues to 4 p.m. each day.
