COLUMBIA, S.C. – During the first period of your typical Knockout Round, it’s just too soon to tell who will round out the Top 10 and advance to the Championship Round. But this time around, at Fox Rent A Car Stage Three Presented by Mercury, things are different. Catching a 22-pound limit before the end of Period 1, the Bass Pro Tour rookie John Hunter appears to have punched his ticket to his first Championship Round. Alternating between a fluke and a jerkbait, Hunter caught several healthy keepers fishing a point off of a small island on the midsection of Lake Murray, including two 5-pounders.

You can watch the rest of the pros in the Stage Three Knockout Round try to catch up with Hunter on the MLFNOW! live stream, available at MajorLeagueFishing.com, the free MLF app and MyOutdoorTV.com.
