KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Berkley pro Jordan Lee makes winning look easy on the Kissimmee Chain. After winning the first-ever Bass Pro Tour event on the same waters in January 2019, Lee was right back at it for the Toyota Heavy Hitters Presented by Venmo. With the win, he earned himself a cool $100,000.
The Alabama angler was the first on the board and never looked back. With the help of 3-pound, 6-ouncer, a 6-4 and a 4-3 in the first 45 minutes of competition, Lee took the early lead and maintained it for the day, ending the Championship Round with 12 bass for 52-9, nearly 20 pounds ahead of second-place Bryan Thrift.
To top it off, Lee also caught the biggest bass of the day, a 7-4, earning him the Heavy Hitters Big Bass award of an additional $100,000. That leaves Lee walking away with a $200K payday.
