SPRING CITY, Tenn. – Bass Pro Tour rookie Ryan Salzman killed two birds with one stone, making his first Championship Round and scoring his first Bass Pro Tour event win at General Tire Stage Five on Watts Bar Lake Presented by Covercraft.

The Alabama angler’s win came by primarily targeting the dam, alternating between a swimbait and a drop-shot. His efforts paid off handsomely, and he posted 13 bass weighing 24 pounds, 3 ounces, to take home the $100,000 grand prize as well as the coveted Bass Pro Tour trophy.
