RICHMOND, Va. — Nick LeBrun came out swinging in the first period of the Knockout Round at General Tire Stage Six Presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts. During the opening hour of competition alone, LeBrun posted 12 bass weighing 24 pounds, 10 ounces – more than half of what he estimated it would take to advance to the Championship Round following his Qualifying Round win yesterday.

By the end of Period 1, he’d established a solid lead with a margin of 5-10 over second place, positioning himself well to finish the day among the Top 10.

Take a look at some of the LeBrun’s morning action from the fifth day and follow the official live scoring on SCORETRACKER®. Be sure to tune in today and Sunday for the MLFNOW! livestream at MajorLeagueFishing.com and the MyOutdoorTV (MOTV) app. The livestream begins at 7:45 a.m. ET and continues to 4:30 p.m. each day.
