Andy Montgomery started off strong during the Championship Round of the Berkey Stage Six Presented by TrueTimer. But as the day progressed, Aaron Martens chipped away at Mongomery’s lead and found himself in first place during Period 2. At the end of the day, Martens was named the Stage Six Champion, with 50 bass totaling 86 pounds, 4 ounces. Mongomery also landed 50 scorable bass, but his final weight was 77-14, more than 8 pounds behind Martens. We spoke to both Martens and Montgomery after they got off Table Rock Lake at the end of Stage Six.
