KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Even though he’s been watching Heavy Hitters from a distance, MLF veteran Aaron Martens’ presence can be felt all around in Kissimmee, Florida this week.
Martens, who is undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment, was listed as “unable to compete” this week on the Kissimmee Chain, but the popular Alabaman’s name has appeared on SCORETRACKER® throughout the event. He’s officially entered into Heavy Hitters as one of the 80 competing anglers, and will receive the $4,000 payout allotted to anglers who finish 41st to 80th in the event, a decision unanimously voted on by the field.
