Toro Cut Line: Avena and Lucas go Toe to Toe during Stage Seven Knockout Round

October 6, 2022 • Bass Pro Tour

ONAMIA, Minn. – The Toro Cut Line was a veritable game of double dutch during the Knockout Round of Bally Bet Stage Seven Presented by Minn Kota.

Justin Lucas and Adrian Avena were jumping up and down SCORETRACKER® near the Toro Cut Line when Jacob Wheeler hopped into contention during Period 3. As the clock counted down the final minutes, it was down to Lucas and Avena. When it was time for lines out, both anglers were above the Toro Cut Line and Wheeler was a mere 2 ounces shy of making the Championship Round.
