Greg Vinson broke two records during the first Shotgun Round: highest number of bass caught during a single Bass Pro Tour round (52) and highest weight caught in one day of a Bass Pro Tour Stage (83 pounds, 6 ounces). Jacob Powroznik rallied late in the third period and ended the day in second place with 76-15. Cliff Pace started the day off strong and stayed at the top of the SCORETRACKER®, ending the day with 51 scoreable bass totaling 74-12.
