MONROE-WEST MONROE – Records have been set and bass fishing dreams of a lifetime have come true on Caney Creek and Bussey Brake, the site of General Tire Heavy Hitters Presented by Bass Pro Shops.

Anglers have a shot at catching a single bass worth $25,000 in the Qualifying Round, then $50,000 in the Knockout Round and $100,000 in the Championship Round – but, there’s plenyy of places for bass to hide on Caney Creek and the weather could be a toss up, according to Zack Birge. In this video, Birge provides his two cents on what it’ll take to score big during Heavy Hitters.
