Bass Pro Tour anglers Dakota Ebare, Alton Jones, Gary Klein, Michael Neal and Kevin VanDam met on their off day at Frontenac Park on Cayuga Lake to participate in the fourth Costa Clean Water Matters shoreline clean up of the 2022 season. Frontenac Park played host to the MLF Fan Festival over the weekend, is the official daily launch and takeout ramp and will be the site for the trophy ceremony on Thursday.

The clean up was led by Major League Fishing Fisheries Management Division in Partnership with Berkley Labs. Starting just after launch this morning and continuing throughout the first period, the volunteers collected trash throughout the entire park, along a mile of shoreline, in the service yard, at the launch ramp and in two parking lots used by competitors.

“Union Springs and Frontenac Park have been extraordinary host with amazing facilities” Kevin VanDam said. “We appreciate the volunteer opportunities Costa and the FMD have given us throughout this season at the Clean Water Matters events.”
