FELLSMERE, Fla. – Under an hour remains on Lake Garcia, and if anybody is going to catch Jordan Lee, it’s going to take a few Florida giants to tip the scales.

Lee has piled 24 pounds, 2 ounces on SCORETRACKER in just under an hour, and currently owns a 12-pound lead on Edwin Evers. Evers is firing back with seven fish of his own in the last hour, but the quality of Lee’s fish has improved dramatically: he’s caught a 4-11, two 3s, and four 2s during his final-period surge.

1:55 p.m. ET – Jordan Lee just add a 4-11 to SCORETRACKER! He and Lintner are dead even at 27-10. More late-game fireworks to come! The two are actually tied in two ways: the first tiebreaker is the number of scorable bass – both have 15. Linter would win the next tiebreaker with heaviest bass, his 5-5.

12:42 p.m. ET – After a fast start to the morning, MLF pro Jordan Lee slowed down for a bit. He reeled in 6 bass for 9-10 in the first period but then went more than two hours without a fish. He is currently in fourth place and 4-13 behind first-place Edwin Evers.

12:08 p.m. ET – It seems like Michael Neal has been spending more time in a penalty box than he has with a rod in his hand. We’re about halfway through the day and the Tennessee pro has seven penalties so far. They have ranged from the fish barely touching the carpet to setting the hook too hard and having a fish come flying into the boat.

He’s spent 14 minutes in the penalty so far, but he has been catching quality fish. His average is 3 pounds and he’s currently in fourth place. He will remain in contention if he can clean up the penalties and keep catching good ones.

11:55 a.m. ET – Edwin Evers is now at the top of SCORETRACKER with a 1-pounder that put him 7 ounces ahead of Jared Lintner.

10:04 a.m. ET – We have a new leader in the Championship Round. Jared Lintner has overtaken Jordan Lee thanks to a 4-1 pushing his total weight to 13-5. Lee is now 2-11 back of Lintner and third-place Michael Neal is 6-1 behind. The fog continues to hang around on Lake Garcia which should continue to affect the anglers’ mobility.

9:20 a.m. ET – Our on-the-water photographer Garrick Dixon was able to locate current leader Jordan Lee on foggy Garcia. Dixon estimates the visibility to be 50 yards. This could limit the pros’ ability and willingness to explore much until the fog lifts. Lee is catching his fish from isolated patches of lily pads, which is what our MLF LIVE! analyst JT Kenney predicted in last night’s Garcia preview article.

9:00 a.m. ET – Jordan Lee is off to a hot start on Lake Garcia. The MLF pro has landed 6 bass for 8-15 and currently holds a 5-9 lead over second-place Alton Jones, Jr.

Anthony Gagliardi owns the biggest fish of the day at 2-9. Randy Howell, Michael Neal and and Takahiro Omori have yet to catch a fish this morning.

8:06 a.m. ET – Alton Jones, Jr. and Dustin Connell are now on SCORETRACKER. Jones reeled in a 1-11 to move into second place while Connell continued his hot streak from yesterday with a 1-1 to move into third.
