FLORENCE, Ala. – High school anglers from around the country spread out over Pickwick Lake for Day 1 of the High School Fishing National Championship. The event, which runs concurrently with the High School Fishing World Finals, welcomed over 400 high school teams and their boat captains to this impoundment of the Tennessee River for a shot at a massive pool of scholarships and prizes.
