MURRAY, Ky. – The future of bass fishing is bright. For the sixth year in a row, young anglers went to school at the Simms High School Fishing Camp Presented by Tackle Warehouse at Murray State University, near the shores of Kentucky Lake and the headquarters of Major League Fishing.
Campers spent Wednesday through Friday learning from some of MLF’s finest anglers and experienced fishing industry experts, and on Saturday hit the water for the MLF Foundation Benefit Tournament to help raise money for the foundation’s High School Fishing scholarship fund.
Here’s a look at the activities from camp as high schoolers from around the region went to fishing class.
