Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts pro Greg Bohannan recently announced a sponsorship deal with Mossback, an Arkansas company that produces artificial fish attractors.

“These artificial attractors are made out of PVC and recycled plastic,” he said. “They are fast and easy to set up and they are there forever. The limbs are natural-looking and the recycled plastic dulls the sound when a bait or sinker hits the product.

“One of the best things about this type of attractor is that fish get in them quick. Guys have reported placing the attractors in the morning and catching fish out of them only a few hours later. This is a great feature for tournament anglers.”

When assembled, an attractor looks like a plastic tree with a trunk and green artificial branches. The branches have a rough texture, which promotes algae growth and attracts baitfish such as shad, which in turn attract bass and crappies.
