Boater Kent Smart of Dayton, Ohio, caught a five-bass limit weighing 11 pounds, 15 ounces Saturday to win $4,244 in the BFL Buckeye Division tournament on Indian Lake. Under partly cloudy skies, Smart was flipping green-pumpkin tubes in the game reserve to bag his limit.

Tad Bosley of Ashland, Ohio, caught a five-bass limit weighing 8 pounds, 6 ounces to win $2,082 in the Co-angler Division on Indian Lake. Bosley was flipping green-pumpkin craws near the north end of the lake to catch his limit.

The next BFL Buckeye Division tournament is scheduled for July 24 at the Ohio River in Maysville, Ky. After the fifth Buckeye Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 21-23 Regional Championship at Kentucky Lake in Gilbertsville, Ky., where boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
