With pro entry fees remaining stable at $1,700 since 2020, the Toyota Series Presented by Phoenix Boats continues to be one of the best options for triple-A fishing. The five divisions feature reasonable travel and great fisheries, so there’s an option for just about everyone looking to get in on the action, be it on the pro side or as a Strike King co-angler.

The time is fast approaching to sign up for 2025:

  • Entries from the top 25 pros and co-anglers as well as tournament winners from each division of the 2024 Toyota Series and the top 45 boaters and co-anglers from each division of the 2024 Phoenix Bass Fishing League – plus the winner of each 2024 BFL tournament and the top 10 anglers from the 2024 College Fishing National Championship – will be accepted beginning Nov. 11. These anglers have until Nov. 25 to secure their priority entry position.

Toyota Series Championship offers huge rewards

The highlight event of the fall, the nationally televised Toyota Series Championship is a huge event where pros fish for $235,00, including a $35,000 Phoenix MLF Bonus, and co-anglers compete for a $33,500 Phoenix 518 Pro bass boat powered by a 115 HP Mercury or Suzuki. The Toyota Series is the only regional circuit of its kind with a no-entry-fee world championship.

The winning pro at the Toyota Series Championship qualifies for REDCREST 2026 and the chance to win $300,000, and the highest-finishing pro from each division, including the Wild Card, receives a $10,000 bonus.

Wild Card Division gives you flexibility and a second chance

While the five standard regional divisions are packed with great lakes at great times, the Wild Card option gives anglers a chance to really control things. The Top 25 pros and co-anglers from the Wild Card Division make the Toyota Series Championship, and all you need to do is fish four or more tournaments in any combination of divisions. Once you fish four, your three best finishes count in the points race.

A great Wild Card schedule might feature the Southwestern Division plus a trip to Lake of the Ozarks. Or, for someone looking to catch a smallmouth or two, one might hit a few tournaments in the sunny south early in the year and then Lake Champlain and the St. Lawrence River to finish the season.

The whole schedule is stacked, but the first few events ought to be special.

Sam Rayburn early in the year is a great way to get things rolling in the Southwestern Division. Then, the Central Division takes on Pickwick Lake in February, which should feature some huge weights. Right after that, the Southern Division starts in sunny Florida at Lake Okeechobee, which is always a can’t-miss destination.
