I played and tried just about every sport growing up, but eventually, lack of talent caught up with me. So in order to stay around sports, I decided to go into broadcasting them and I haven’t really worked a day in 25 years. I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1994 and got a job doing radio play-by-play in Enid, OK. From there I transitioned into television, doing sports at the CBS affiliate in OKC. That has led me to hosting shows and doing play-by-play for the University of Oklahoma and various ESPN entities, including ESPNU’s Big 12 This Week. I couldn’t be more excited about our new endeavor at MLF. Let’s take professional bass fishing to places it deserves and has never been before.
