Passion for the outdoors has deep roots in Steven’s family. He has been exposed to the world of fishing, hunting and camping for nearly 40 years. Weekends of fishing with his grandfather, hunting with his uncles or camping with his parents seemed to be common place throughout his youth. In his early 20s, Steven began taking his place in the workforce as a Union Plumber, which he still does today, and it seemed life was full of things he had to do and not what he wanted to do. In January 2004, he made the decision to get back to doing what he loves, and his passion for bass fishing and the outdoors was once again ignited. Steven has been able to combine his passion for the outdoors with his natural talent as a host and event announcer. When he is not hosting Jack Link’s Major League Fishing, you can find him announcing Supercross events across the country, hosting events for the Professional Anglers Association and timber sports events.
