Drew Gill and Marshall Robinson of Team Coign continued their winning ways on Lake Garcia with a repeat of their Knockout Round Match 2 performance on Stick Marsh – taking the lead early in the day and never getting off the juice. The duo topped SCORETRACKER® with 69 pounds, 11 ounces on 38 scorable bass.
Meanwhile, it was a tight race for second place between Team REDCON1 (Skeet Reese and John Murray) and Team Star brite (Bobby Lane and Chris Lane). Shortly before lines out, Bobby pulled in a 1-7 for Team Star brite to overtake Team REDCON1 by 4 ounces. The Lane brothers claimed second place with 23 bass for 31-7, while Murray and Reese placed third with 13 bass weighing 31-3.
Britt Myers and Terry Scroggins of Team Lucas Oil put up a good fight, placing fourth with 12 bass weighing 21-6.
