ALEXANDRIA, Minn. – Becoming the first team to win the first match of the freshly minted General Tire Team Series was no easy feat, but Team Crockett Creek had no reason to sweat going into Day 2 considering the massive lead they built during Day 1 of the Lucas Oil Qualifier Presented by B&W Trailer Hitches.
Jason Lambert, Jacob Wheeler and Dylan Hays started the day on Lake Le Homme Dieu with 173 pounds, 14 ounces for a massive 66-pound lead from the get-go. They nearly doubled that total for a 310-7 win, nearly 100 pounds ahead of the No. 2 team.
