Fishing Challenge winners announced for Kentucky Lake
Sign-ups continue for final FLW Outdoors fantasy-fishing contest of 2004: FLW Tour event at Lake Champlain
Now that the final results are in, FLWOutdoors.com would like to congratulate everyone who took the time to participate in the latest FLW Outdoors Fishing Challenge. While no contestant was able to correctly guess the top five anglers at the last FLW Tour competition and walk away with the grand prize, 25 participants did manage to win a variety of great prizes.
The grand-prize-winning angler combination in the latest Fishing Challenge – which took place May 12-15 on Kentucky Lake near Gilbertsville, Ky. – fell together as follows: Anthony Gagliardi (first) of Prosperity, S.C.; Greg Hackney (second) of Gonzales, La.; David Dudley (third) of Lynchburg, Va.; David Fritts (fourth) of Lexington, N.C.; and Shinichi Fukae (fifth) of Osaka, Japan.
Other awards, presented to the top 25 contestants, ranged from a die-cast model of an official FLW Outdoors sponsor boat to one-year FLW Outdoors memberships.
Note to winners: Please allow six to eight weeks for delivery of prizes.
Winners of the latest FLW Outdoors Fishing Challenge included the following top five:
* Les Kent of Zebulon, N.C., who won a die-cast replica of an official FLW Outdoors sponsor boat and a one-year FLW Outdoors membership valued at $210.
* Billy Gunter of Crouse, N.C., who won a Plano soft-sided tackle system (model 3377) and a set of FLW Outdoors bait and tackle valued at $109.
* Michael Brewton of Nacogdoches, Texas, who won a Bass Fishing League sweatshirt, a BFL hat and a one-year FLW Outdoors membership valued at $60.
* Andy Bailey of Beckley, W.Va., who won a set of FLW Outdoors bait and tackle valued at $53.
* Michael McCoy of Burton, S.C., who won an FLW Outdoors long-sleeve Henley shirt and a one-year FLW Outdoors membership valued at $51.
