In an ongoing effort to provide as much interaction between world-class anglers and fishing fans as possible, FLWOutdoors.com has announced the 67th installment of FLW Live Reel Chat. On Tuesday, April 23 at 2 p.m. Central time (3 p.m. ET), visitors to FLWOutdoors.com will be able to correspond directly with FLW Tour pro Jason Christie of Park Hill, Okla., the winner of the 2013 FLW Tour event on Beaver Lake, in a special live chat-room format.

With over $800,000 in career FLW earnings, Rayovac team pro Jason Christie recently netted his second FLW Tour title with an impressive win on Beaver Lake. Christie now boasts nine tournament titles since he began his FLW career back in 1996. Christie has also recorded 35 top-10 finishes, including 11 on the FLW Tour alone since 2008. The Oklahoma native has qualified for the Forrest Wood Cup four years in a row, beginning with the 2009 season, and currently sits in ninth place overall in the 2013 FLW Tour Angler of the Year standings.

Chat directly with Christie

Participation in the upcoming chat is simple. At the start of the next live chat on April 23, visitors can log on at 2 p.m. Central time and interact directly with Christie or simply watch the chat unfold online. As always, FLW fishing fans may begin submitting questions immediately.

During the chat fishing fans will be able to ask Christie about his recent victory on Beaver Lake, the importance of this season’s AOY race, pose tips-and-technique questions or ask anything else that comes to mind. Again, visitors to FLWOutdoors.com are able to log on and submit questions in advance of the scheduled chat in order to have the first shot at getting their questions answered. It’s also a great way to participate if you’re unable to make the April 23 live chat. However, for those who miss the chat entirely, a transcript will be posted to the site immediately following its conclusion.

In addition, fishing fans who missed out on any previous FLW Live Reel Chats can find links to their full transcripts here.

FLWOutdoors.com will offer the FLW Live Reel Chat format continually, with regularly scheduled chats occurring after each FLW Tour event. Also, additional chats will be added throughout each month as anglers or fishing celebrities become available.
