John Cox made a crucial move at the end of the Berkley Stage Two Presented by Mercury Knockout Round and finished the day in eighth place, just above the Toro Cut Line. His Knockout Round weight was 16 pounds, 10 ounces, just 6 ounces above ninth place Mike McClelland. After he pulled his boat off the water, Cox explained how stressful the final 40 minutes of the Knockout Round were.

The pros’ weights will zero when the Top 10 hit Lake Travis on Wednesday morning (eight pros who qualified during the Knockout Round will meet Group A and Group B’s Qualifying Round winners). The pro on top of SCORETRACKER® at the end of the day will be named the Stage Two Champion.
