Off Limits and Additional Info
Off Limits: Standard MLF5 off limits, plus the take off area at the Boat Basin from the break wall at the marina, and extending in a straight line to the mouth of the Saranac River. All bridges are no-wake and idle speed only. Canadian waters are off limits to fishing and may not be entered to access any U.S. fishing areas. Locking is NOT permitted during the event. Fishing is not permitted within 150 yards of ALL ferry docks on NY and VT sides. Fishing License: A Vermont license is reciprocal with New York for all of Champlain EXCEPT for the southern most tip of the lake. A New York license is good in Vermont EXCEPT for Malletts Bay, The Gut, Alburg Passage, Missisquoi Bay and the Inland Sea. Licenses may be purchased online at majorleaguefishing.com/fishing-license.
