CLERMONT, Fla. – A slim lead of less than 3 pounds grew to 11 pounds and a Match 2 win for Team Crockett Creek (Jacob Wheeler, Dylan Hays and Jason Lambert) at the General Tire Team Series Bass Pro Shops Championship Presented by B&W Trailer Hitches.

Wheeler paved the way for his team with 11 bass weighing 17 pounds, 4 ounces – including the biggest bass of the day, a 4-2. Hays posted seven bass for 9-14 and Lambert had a rough go of things with one bass for 1-6, bringing the team’s two-day total to 46 bass weighing 74-7.

Team B&W Trailer Hitches (David Walker, Kevin VanDam and Todd Faircloth) finished second with 35 bass weighing 63-8. Team Kubota (Ott DeFoe, Kelly Jordon and Keith Poche) was third with 32 bass weighing 46-4.

Team Crockett Creek will advance to the Championship Round along with Match 1’s winning team, Team Builders FirstSource (Jeff Sprague, Randall Tharp and Cliff Crochet), as well as Match 3’s winning team.
