JAMESTOWN, Ky. — The top high school anglers in the country converged on Kentucky’s Lake Cumberland Wednesday for the Abu Garcia High School Fishing National Championship Presented by Tackle Warehouse. More than 200 teams will contest the three-day championship, and the event is being held concurrently with The Bass Federation’s High School Fishing World Finals, which will award another champion on Saturday. Together, the two events will hand out more than $1 million in scholarship money and prizes.
