When not fishing professionally, Wall is fishing. "I live and breathe fishing, that’s my entire life. I have no major hobbies outside of fishing, but I do enjoy designing and making lures," Wall said. Wall also enjoys spending time with family and friends, but if he's not fishing professionally then he's typically fishing with a friend. He also enjoys filming and editing fishing videos. Wall has "a silly black cat named Nugget." He's originally from southern Oregon, which is much more well known for salmon, trout and steelhead fishing. He says he's "absolutely obsessed with bass fishing, when I'm not competing I spend lots of time on the water honing my skills."
