Jason Vance made his Bass Pro Tour debut in 2024 with an already impressive fishing résumé. In 2017, Vance placed second at the U.S. Angler’s Choice Championship on Grand Lake o’ the Cherokees. Then in 2019 he placed 12th at the Toyota Series Championship. In 2023, ranked 10th in the Tackle Warehouse Invitationals standings.

Vance was a high school varsity golf coach at the age of 25. He captained his first boat at 9 years old, a 12-footer with a 3.5hp engine. Vance is a local dart champion. He's a self-described foodie and says "I can cook for all the boys at fish camp, I love bourbon and expensive red wine. I'll make you fat."
