Off Limits: Standard MLF5 off limits plus 50 yards either side of fish release extending to include the entire boat ramp. Entry is prohibited prior to March 1 for Cantey Bay, Savannah Branch and Black Bottom National Wildlife Refuge areas. Fishing License: A South Carolina license is required and may be puchased over the phone at 803.734.3833 or online at majorleaguefishing.com/fishing-license. Additionally, a signed refuge fishing permit must be in each fisherman's possession while fishing on the refuge. The self-issuing refuge fishing permit is free https://www.fws.gov/sites/default/files/documents/Santee%20Fish%202023.pdf and assures you have read and understand Santee NWR's fishing regulations.
