Anglers who purchase this license will be able to fish Maryland's tidal freshwater, Virginia's tidal freshwater, as well as waters managed by Potomac River Fisheries Commission. Anglers who want to fish D.C. waters for bass, must purchase a fishing license from D.C. D.C. Waters: A U.S. Coast Guard state boating course and D.C. license is required when fishing D.C. waters. This free safety course can be taken online at www.boatus.com.
