LEESBURG, Fla. – The University of North Florida’s Nicholas Oldham of Jacksonville, Florida and Jacob Sanders of Julington Creek, Florida, took the win on Friday at the Abu Garcia College Fishing presented by YETI at Harris Chain of Lakes. The victory earned the University of North Florida bass club $2,000 and qualified the duo to compete in the 2021 College Fishing National Championship.

Their limit of 31 pounds, 11 ounces, set a new all-time single-day record with the heaviest five-fish weight in College Fishing history. The record was previously set in 2009 on Falcon Lake by the Tarleton State University team of John Anderson and Tanner Morgan, with a limit of 29 pounds, 13 ounces.
