Qualifying Day 1 of the Tackle Warehouse TITLE Presented by Toyota was good, with fairly steady fishing across the board, but Kurt Mitchell stole the show.

Fresh off a Toyota Series win on Lake Erie, Mitchell took to Sturgeon Bay like a duck to water, basically lapping the rest of Group A early in the morning and rolling out to a 119-pound, 10-ounce total. With 33 scorable bass, Mitchell caught 13 more fish than anyone else, and he also weighed the biggest fish of the day, a monstrous 5-10 smallmouth.

In second, Grae Buck totaled 63 pounds, and Evan Barnes loaded up 61-10 and sits in third.
