Sam Rayburn Day 3 is Canceled
Points and earnings are awarded after just two days of competition
Dense fog on day three of the Costa FLW Series Southwestern Division Event on Sam Rayburn presented by YETI forced the cancellation of the last day of competition. The tournament was called shortly before 11 a.m. due to safety concerns.
“We didn’t see conditions improving,” said tournament director Ron Lappin, “so we opted on the side of safety.”
Day two leader Kevin Laysone of Dry Prong, La. is the winner with a two-day total of 53 pounds, one ounce. Louis Ferguson won the co-angler division with a two-day total of 35-14.
