OSAGE BEACH, Mo. – As expected, the pros saw solid success on Day 1 of the Toyota Series Presented by Phoenix Boats event at Lake of the Ozarks. Leading the way, Travis Harriman sacked up 20 pounds, 7 ounces, giving him a 1-13 edge over Cody Huff, who tallied 18-10 to get things rolling. It remains to be seen how achievable consistency will be, but nearly 20 pros crossed the 14-pound mark, which should bode well for a tight race into the weekend.

On the Angler of the Year side, Brad Jelinek got off to a great start and may take home the title. The leader in the points entering the final Plains Division event of the year, Jelinek sits third through one day with 18-4. He’s well ahead of Drew Gill and Cole Breeden, who both caught less than 12 pounds.

Check back soon for more.
