Salvucci hammers 22-5 to lead at the Delta
OAKLEY, Calif. – Bucking most pre-tournament predictions, Day 1 of the Toyota Series Presented by Phoenix Boats event on the California Delta turnout out to be pretty good. Hammering out 22 pounds, 5 ounces, Nick Salvucci staked himself to a solid lead. Behind him, Robert Cloutier and Ish Monroe caught more than 19 pounds, and bags in the upper teens were not totally unheard of. So, it looks like we might be in for a good one out west, even if not many saw it coming.
