It was a big day for the MLF pro known as “Big Show.” On Monday, Team Toyota pro Terry Scroggins qualified for the Knockout Round of the General Tire Stage Five Presented by Berkley with a two-day Qualifying Round total of 149 pounds, 2 ounces. Scroggins had a solid Qualifying Day 1 on Saturday – he caught 45-2. Then on Monday, he wrecked ’em on the St. Lawrence River, catching 104 pounds, more than any other angler in Group B on Qualifying Day 2.

Scroggins had to skip Stage Three earlier this year because he was recovering from surgery on his left knee. He returned to Bass Pro Tour competition at Stage Four on Lake Chickamauga, where he qualified for the Knockout Round. He says his knee is feeling “a little stiff” as he prepares to fish his second consecutive Knockout Round on Tuesday.
