COUNCE, Tenn. – With the Toyota Series Championship Presented by Guaranteed Rate kicking off on October 28th, the pros and Strike-King co-anglers who qualified for the event are practicing on Pickwick Lake. During practice, three pros from different divisions shared their game plan for the three-day event.

Oklahoma pro Nick Aber, who qualified through the Southwestern Division, says he’ll cover water and stay shallow, focusing on topwater and moving baits. Phillip Dutra, the Western Divison Angler of the Year from California, will compete out east for the first time during the Toyota Series Championship. He says he’ll try out a variety of baits and techniques before the start of the event on Thursday. Finally, Hunter Eubanks, who qualified through the Central Division, says he’s focusing on the backs of creeks and throwing a jig.

The pros are competing for a top prize of up to $235,000. You can read a detailed preview of the Championship here, and you can watch the weigh-ins live at 3:15 p.m. CT from October 28-30.
