Jeff Sprague sprung to the top of SCORETRACKER® with a strong start and maintained his lead throughout the day, finishing with 59 pounds, 13 ounces on 18 scorable bass – most of which were caught in Period 1 without using his forward-facing sonar. Meanwhile, the race was tight and the lines were tighter as the majority of the field remained within striking distance of crossing the elimination line. This sets the stage for a suspenseful Day 2 as anglers will pick up where they left off today with the elimination line defined by mere ounces with Britt Myers in 20th place with 30-15 on 10 scorable bass.

Stage 3 action continues tomorrow with the full fleet of anglers returning to Lake Murray for Qualifying Day 2 on the MLFNOW! live stream at MajorLeagueFishing.com, the MyOutdoorTV (MOTV) app, and Rumble at 7:30 a.m. ET.
