Jacob Wheeler ran away with the win in Period 3 of the Championship Round of B&W Trailer Hitches Stage One Presented by Power-Pole. He caught 24 fish totaling 68 pounds, beating second-place Bryan Thrift by more than 20 pounds.

This week, Bass Pro Tour newcomer Bryan Thrift proved that the format change was no problem for him. After two days off the water, he came in second place, weighing in 13 fish for 40-11.

Ott DeFoe caught the Berkley Big Bass of the day, a 6-15, which will be a huge help when it comes to qualifying for Heavy Hitters in May. He came in third place overall, with 10 fish for 34-09.

We caught up with all three MLF pros right after they came off the water on Championship Wednesday.
