GALLERY: Davis Makes His Mark on Rayburn

JASPER, Texas – Even in 2021, you can’t always rely on technology. That was the lesson of the day as MLF pro Mark Davis, who appeared to have no bass near the end of Period 2, jumped to the top of SCORETRACKER® with a whopping 26 pounds, 2 ounces of bass, putting him 7 pounds over then-leader Brent Ehrler. Davis had actually caught most of his weight during Period 1, but due to poor reception, it wasn’t updated at the time of entry. He wrapped up the round in first place with 28-2.
