It’s a name that fans have grown used to seeing on top of SCORETRACKER® since he started fishing the Bass Pro Tour in 2020: Bryan Thrift. After a Top-10 performance at REDCREST 2021, Thrift is off to another solid start at General Tire Heavy Hitters Presented by Bass Pro Shops.
Thrift is one of the 20 MLF pros in Group B, which is spending the two qualifying days on Falls Lake (Group A is fishing nearby Jordan Lake). At the conclusion of Group B’s Qualifying Day 1, Thrift ended up on top of SCORETRACKER® with 44 pounds, 7 ounces. If he’s able to maintain that lead when Group B returns to Falls Lake on Monday, he’ll earn automatic advancement to the Championship Round of Heavy Hitters.
