AUSTIN, Texas – Group A’s 40 MLF pros hit the water on Lake Travis for the Berkley Stage Two Presented by Mercury in Austin, Texas. Arkansas angler Mark Rose, who won on Travis in 2017, seemed to figure it out again and claimed the early lead during Qualifying Day 1. But it was Brent Chapman who took the day, having a flurry of a final period and setting himself up with 46 pounds, 8 ounces to begin Sunday’s Qualifying Day 2. Get an on-the-water look at a gloomy Day 1 from the Lone Star State!
