Michael Neal’s Biggest Year Yet

November 6, 2021 • Bass Pro Tour

It was a long time coming. After countless Top 10’s and several close-calls where Micheal Neal finished events in second or third place, Neal won Stage Seven of the Bass Pro Tour on Lake St. Clair just weeks after securing the Angler of the Year title on the Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit.

Neal explained that it was the extra time on the water that helped him get dialed in on the fish in 2021. Competing on the Bass Pro Tour and Pro Circuit meant Neal fished 17 pro-level tournaments, and he only missed the cut in one of them. At just 30 years old, Neal says the plan is to continue to fish both circuits for as long as he’s able to, and he’s hoping to bring home more hardware in 2022.
