GALLERY: Elimination Line Tango Until the End

LA CROSSE, Wis. – As the name suggests, Knockout Round 2 of REDCREST Presented by Venmo was an action-packed affair on Pool 8 of the Upper Mississippi. It was down to the wire as three MLF pros – Brandon Palaniuk, Casey Ashley and Mark Rose – were within striking distance of the coveted fifth-place position until the final moments of the round. In the end, it was Brandon Palaniuk who pulled ahead, taking the final spot in the Top 5 and will be moving on to Championship Sunday for a chance at the REDCREST trophy and $300,000 paycheck. Along with Palaniuk are Greg Hackney, Zack Birge, Fred Roumbanis and Brent Ehrler.
