KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Critical equipment for the second day of practice for Toyota Heavy Hitters Presented by Venmo: good rain gear.

As anglers left the Big Toho Marina launch this morning for the second and final day of practice on the Kissimmee Chain, they were all preparing for a soggy day in central Florida. Local forecasts call for the usual Florida June menu of intermittent rain – “intermittent” meaning “steady.”

Live coverage of Heavy Hitters begins Sunday at 6:15 a.m. EDT with the morning launch on the Major League Fishing Facebook page, followed by the start of the MLF NOW! live stream at 6:45 EDT.
